So since there was little feedback on the what-should-I-do issue here’s another, easier question: what media (books, music, tv, movies, internet phenomena) from the past two years should I seek out? What was your favorite book? Favorite album?

I’d say … just don’t bother. You’ll go crazy trying to catch up. Just live.

I’ll make you a mix, though.

From the past two years? I don’t really frame things in terms of when they happened, at all. I’ve an ahistorical memory.

But, that said, see Easy A as it’s fantastic.

I really liked Scott Pilgrim (comic books and, like, the one movie I saw), don’t know if it will be to your taste. You have probably read The Magicians?

Ahem. Little feedback?

Here are some good shows that have been making new episodes in the past two years. Some have perhaps existed before then so you will already be aware and trying to catch up. I tried to remove ones you would obviously not like, but if I thought there was any chance you might like it and it popped into my mind while I was typing then it is included.

Sons of Anarchy (Shakespearean drama about a motorcycle gang)
Mad Men (surely you are already on this)
Scott Pilgrim movie was pretty good
I liked the Karate Kid remake
Everything else I am thinking of at this moment you would probably hate because you don’t like nice things.
This is a boring question, I liked your last one more.
